  • I've been lazy as hell these past few days. I really enjoyed milking the whole flood situation Findlay went through. Funny thing is, the part of Findlay I live in didn't flood what so ever. The water has went down though and I have to once again live my normal life (which is exactly the same thing but I can't actually call into work anymore due to a level 3 flood warning).

Not too long ago I got into independent games again. What a fucking blast. Ben showed me a really good blog called Tigsource. Check it out if you're at all interested. I've got into a handful of games like, Knytt, Deep Within a Forest, Death Worm, and La-Mulana. Before those the only indie games I ventured into were Cave Story and N.

I'm gonna go ahead and play around with this Xanga theme shit they've developed. Looks interesting. Good night.

  • Yuck..

My layout hardly even functions now that my web space has been erased from existence.. It's not even a situation where I chose not to renew the hosting, but more as where the company just up and vanished into thin air. It's very very lame.

Maybe I'll start posting again? Maybe I'll make my layout Nintendo DS friendly? I don't know.

  • I'm back, but not.

Not a whole lot of "fresh" things going on in my daily life. Still in school. Still slacking in school. Work is always the same bullshit. An environment ran by men, who worship females. That's no lie. Wish I had a rack and a crack that ran from back to front.

On other notes: I'm practicing keyboard once again, this time maybe I'll make it further than the first 5 pages of my "How to play Keyboard" book. My laptop fried, so I've been on my desktop lately. It's such an odd feeling, being immobile and all. Oddly enough though, my friend Brian messaged me on AIM the other day, linking me to his work's website. Evidently he works for some laptop repair company, so me being in a situation his job handles, I asked if maybe he could do something for me. Turns out he's giving me one hell of a deal. All I have to do is bring my laptop there, or pay him $20 to come up from Columbus, retrieve it, and head back. So hopefully in the next 3 weeks I'll have a working laptop, once again.

I'm a tad bit obsessed with Brett Dennen. Check him out.

  • Two questions:

One) Why are horse flies so angry?

Two) Is it merely a coincidence that the famous shrimp sauce, cocktail sauce, has both the words cock (penis), and tail (vagina)?

Also, I installed a wireless router for a guy today. In return, he gave me a DVD/VCR combo. Fuckin' sweet, cause I needed a DVD player anyways.

    That's all. Pointless post. G'nite.

  • Eek!

My Xanga will officially look like poo until my site is back up again (that being dorkcity.org). All of my bandwidth was whored out this month, and why, I have no idea. One of my hosted friends is an anus I assume.

    Till then, taaa.

  • Well, I figured since I don't really have a "blog" on Dorkcity, I could post a few updates in my life.

    I'm
taking a summer class at Owens, and it's keeping me semi-busy,
accompanied with work and friends. I have a few papers due today
actually, and right after this post I plan on finishing them. I sort of
wish I would have also taken chemistry, as a few of my friends are and
that would have made it 10x easier/more enjo yable. Oh well though, the
plus is I get to use their notes/books next semester.

    I've
been playing frisbee a lot, but not near as much Ultimate Frisbee as
I'd like to. Its one hell of a workout though, let me tell ya'. After
10 minutes of running around desperately trying to sling a winning
throw, you feel more exhausted than you ever would playing basketball,
or even roller blading. I'd like to schedule another U.F. match
sometime, hopefully in the near future. The last few times I've played
    it's been 3 on 3, or 4 on 4, but I'd like to hit around 5 or 6 people
per team. That'd make for a lot less tiredness, as well as a lot more fun.

    Danielle,
my sister, graduated the other day. Her graduation party was a blast
and I sorry for those of you who couldn't come. Maybe in 20 years,
after graduating college, I'll throw another party.

Here's a photo to end on.

  • Dorkcity.org

I sort of have a little web project again, called "Dorkcity"..

Lot's of problems right now though, mainly due to my hosting being cocksuckers. I'm moving back to Cybexhost over the next few days.

Anyways, go ahead and check the forum out. It'll bore your socks off.

Oh, and in the future this blog will die because I'm working on a blog within Dorkcity. I'll let all you readers know when the time comes, don't worry ;)

  • A quicky..

I don't really feel like posting right now, it's 3:25 AM and I'm beyond tired. With working in 7.5 hours, I'm also not in the best of moods (and it's my own irresponsible fault).

But, I thought I'd give out a few sites that I tend to read everyday.

Site number 1, "Tricks of the Trade". It's usually updated once a day, and gives a neat trick for scenarios you may or may not experience. Check it out at: www.tradetricks.org.

Site number 2, "Life Hackers". This is my favorite site to read every single day. Through out a standard day they might do as many as 10-20 posts, each giving tips, or "hacks" to your daily life. It's actually where I found out about "Tricks of the Trade". Check it out at: www.lifehacker.com.

    Good night.

  • Lets see if this happens..

The semester is seeing it's final days, and I have a lot to do.

I'm saying this now, and will probably do the opposite in twelve hours. But I'm going to attempt ignoring people on AIM, and in person, until I have three papers done. The only things I really care about right now are finishing two philsophy papers, a research paper for english, and toning my Jin skills.

Yes, Tekken is on the agenda (I have to have some fun, right?).
